What is a Renewable Energy Certificate?
These are the certificates that identify and record the source of electricity produced independently of electricity supply with scientific criteria. The consumer will be able to prove that he uses "Renewable Energy" as the holder of the "Renewable Energy Certificate. For example; with this process, statements such as "My workplace works with 100% renewable energy" or "Our products are produced with 100% solar energy" are supported by an international certificate.

Which international standards accept I-REC?
I-REC certificates are accepted by GHG Protocol and CDP. I-REC certificates are used in International Greenhouse Gas Emission Methodologies to prove that energy is supplied from renewable energy sources.
